…anyway so me thinks we seriously underutilise our bargaining power as South African consumers.
Why aren’t we boycotting bad news? Why do we view media as this untouchable king of the jungle, which when it roars we all submit to its torrent? If we can protest against bad news like we do against prayer at schools, surely our collective voice can’t be suffocated?
Why have we never requested and/or demanded low tarrifs on local, and even sub-saharan travel? If we don’t support our local travel – why do we complain when the rest of the globe walks in and defines what is beautiful and what is not on our shores?
That’s just me for now…
